The chapel of the Superga
Built on a small hill in the village of Longefoy, this chapel seen from the valley is well worth a visit and a detour. It was erected in 1853. It is a reduction of the famous sanctuary of the Superga near Turin. Little story, the plateau located at the foot of the chapel was formerly a swamp where swarmed mosquitoes and other animals which brought epidemics to the village. In 1860, the Longefoyrains erected near the chapel, the tallest tree in the forest that can be seen from the Col du Petit Saint Bernard.
Longefoy church
Dating from the 17th century, it was consecrated in 1687. Its patron is Saint Jacques le Majeur. People in the valley say that the church will descend because it would be more and more visible.
St. Martin’s Basilica
In Aime, the builders of the year 1000 produced a jewel of Savoy Romanesque art: the Basilica of Saint Martin. Listed as a historic monument since 1875, it has not been a place of worship for several centuries.
Saint Sigismund church in Aime
Enlarged at the end of the 17th century, presents all the characteristics of Baroque art, the principles of which are the consequence of the counter-reform and the Council of Trent.
The churches and chapels of the Peisey Nancroix valley
The Peisey Nancroix valley has a rich religious heritage. No less than six chapels are scattered throughout the town, not to mention the Vemettes chapel and of course the parish church. Reflecting the religious vitality of a community that rose in the 17th and 18th centuries, the chapels also tell the daily life of these populations.

Saint-François-de-Sales cathedral
It is the metropolitan cathedral of the archdiocese of Chambéry, Maurienne and Tarentaise, in Savoie. It is in flamboyant Gothic style. Its location is in the historic center of the city of Chambéry, between Place Saint-Léger and Rue de la Croix-d’Or. Place du forecourt is called Place Métropole, a monument classified as a historic monument.
