Alpine skiing
Come and practice piste skiing with us. La Plagne was voted best resort because the area allows all types of alpine skiers, of all levels, from beginners to high-level skiers to have fun. La Plagne Montalbert is a village resort where life is good within the large domain of La Plagne (250 km of slopes) and Paradis Ski (420 km of slopes).
Nordic skiing
For lovers of freedom, nature, wild landscapes far from the ski areas, we suggest discovering the pristine peaks around our home. You will ride with touring skis equipped with "seal skins" and descend on slopes of immaculate snow. You will be supervised, if you wish, by one of our friends, high mountain guide.
Ski Free Ride
You can practice free ride skiing in La Plagne depending on your ski level. Our instructor friends or our high mountain guide friends, depending on the terrain, will take you down the powder slopes, the valleys, the corridors, some of which are among the most renowned: the north face of the Bellecote glacier among others... followers of easy skiing, you can discover that you can evolve in a wild universe near the ski area.
Fun slides
Kevin Roland, half pipe world champion is a skier from La Plagne. For those who wish to evolve on ramps, try jumping on an airbag in Montalbert or Belle Plagne, practice moguls jumping at the Belle Plagne Snowpark or just go down a ski cross course or a half pipe, come and stay with us.
Alternative sliding
Montalbert is one of the resorts that has developed alternative skiing. Each year a Yooner championship round takes place there. During the day you can also practice snow scooting, cycling and skiing. At the closing of the slopes you can make the last descent in snakegliss, in snowbodyboard...
Bobsled
With family or friends or action and extreme enthusiasts, you can descend the bobsleigh run at the 1992 Albertville Olympic Games. The bob-raft, a self-guided and self-braking machine unique in the world, the speed luge between bobsleigh and luge, or for the more adventurous bob-racing where you will have taken place behind the professional driver, will give you magnificent and unique sensations on this icy course with raised turns.
Sled dogs
Try the experience of driving a team alone! Are you not afraid of the energy and the impatience of dogs? Our friend Mathias invites you to leave after a short briefing, to order a team of 3 or 4 dogs on the Longefoy plateau from our hotel.
Snowshoeing / Nordic walking
If you like walking, if you like nature, from our hotel, you can practice snowshoeing or simply brisk walking with sticks: Nordic walking. Different marked and traced routes are offered in winter. There are different themed routes for beginners or more experienced. Supervised outings are offered by our accompanying friends every afternoon.
Cross-country skiing
The easy-level Longefoy cross-country ski loop runs over our terrain. Other routes are proposed on the heights of Montalbert. In particular, you can reach the Bobsleigh track on cross-country skis from the Dou de la Ramaz car park.
